WaveCabin Studios

Our story

WaveCabin Studios began with a simple observation: when rooms are calm, conversations breathe. We applied Scandinavian design principles to audio—paring back, softening edges, and letting essentials shine.

Mission

We build and operate recording spaces that reduce friction: fewer knobs to doubt, more clarity to trust. Every detail—from door seals to preamp choices—serves the voice.

Acoustic timeline

2018 — The first cabin

A spare room turned into a proof-of-concept booth with DIY diffusers and absurdly quiet ventilation.

2020 — Repeatable spec

We standardized our layouts: table geometry, mic positions, headphone routing, and pre-session checklists.

2024 — Remote-ready

Added assisted call-ins and playback feeds for hybrid interviews without echo or drift.

Team

Noah Berg — Studio Lead

Acoustics-first builder with a love for quiet HVAC and tidy cable looms.

Maya Lin — Producer Support

Guides hosts through session flow and remote guest onboarding.

Leo Forde — Maintenance

Keeps mics calibrated and preamps consistent week to week.

How sessions work

  1. 1) Choose a room in the catalog and confirm a time.
  2. 2) We prep your layout, gain staging, and headphone mix based on your notes.
  3. 3) Roll with or without an engineer. Leave with drives and a tidy session folder.
